  • Footwear is removed before entering. Carry socks for hot stone floors.
  • Entry rules differ by temple. Some inner sanctums are open to Hindus only, and your guide will tell you in advance.
  • Photography and mobile rules vary. Some temples do not allow phones or cameras inside.
  • Carry small cash for tickets, offerings and shoe stands.

🙏 For North Indian Pilgrims

  • Temple customs in Tamil Nadu differ a little from the North, such as the dress rules for men at some temples and the pace of darshan.
  • Ask us about timings: many temples close in the afternoon and reopen in the evening.
  • Vegetarian meals are easy to find, and sattvic or Jain food can be arranged on request.
